Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 and Fold 2 will reportedly be unveiled on August 5

Coronovirus may have hit the brakes at large in-person events to launch new phones, but the epidemic will not prevent Samsung from virtually bringing three anticipated models. The latest rumor is that the Galaxy maker will be hosting a nearly unpacked event on August 5 to unveil its next versions of the Galaxy Note, a 5G version of the Galaxy fold and the Galaxy Z flip.

The rumor states courtesy of Front Page Tech’s John Prosser, who also says the company plans to announce the Galaxy Fold 2 and Z Flip 5G.

Previous rumors said that Samsung could have three versions of the Note 20 this year, which the company did with its S20 5G line earlier this year. The screen size is being reported from 6.4 to 6.7 inches on the Note 20 and 6.9 inches on the Note 20 Plus, all the way being over 7 inches on the Note 20 Ultra.

As with the S20, 5G is expected to be included in the devices. As for design and specs, noted Samsung leaker Max Weinbach of XDA Developers previously described the Note 20 as being similar specs-wise to the S20 line, just “with an S Pen and squared-off corners.”

The Galaxy Fold 2 features a 7.7-inch main display with S Pen support and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It is also rumored to have a Snapdragon 865 chipset and a 108 MP primary camera. On the other hand, key technical specimens of Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 5G remain a complete mystery at this point. The Galaxy Watch 3, which was seen on the FCC website late last month, will come in 41 mm and 45 mm sizes with a rotating bezel.
