Facebook is going to introduce new privacy settings for Messenger users.
To limit the extent of sending messages to Facebook Messenger users, Facebook is going to introduce new privacy controls in the Messenger app. The company is going to start testing this new setting soon. The user will be able to decide who can send or call you directly, who goes to your request folder, and who cannot message or call you.
The company says Facebook Messenger’s new privacy control feature is similar to the privacy controls provided on Instagram, which added more granular controls for messaging in December. Messenger is going to offer a new feature that automatically blurs pictures sent by users who are not already your Facebook friends
